Hi! My name is Amiyah, and I offer friendly 1-hour companion visits for seniors in North West Hills free of charge. Each visit includes either games or books and crafts, along with lots of laughs!

 

I am an incoming 6th grade student at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. I spent most of my childhood living in China and have traveled to almost 30 countries, where I’ve experienced different cultures and volunteered along the way. Some of my favorite things to do are reading, building LEGO, math, traveling, board games and spending time with animals.

This service was inspired by my own family in San Antonio. Both of my great grandmas are now alone after losing my great grandpas, and I’ve seen just how important companionship is. They enjoy doing board games and crafts with me. We have a lot of fun!

 

So, I wanted to share that same experience with neighbors here in North West Hills by creating visits that focus on kindness, connection, and fun.

Lastly, I will bring all games, books, and art supplies with me to each visit, so everything is easy, fun, and ready to enjoy!
